RaonSecure, one of the leading ICT security company, will be attending the 7th FIDO Seminar in Japan as the only Korean participant. In the seminar, the company will be introducing its FIDO based bio-authentication and DID platform.
The 7th FICO Seminar in Japan is hosted by FIDO Alliance, the international coalition which set bio-authentication standards. It will be held online for four days from Dec 1 to Dec 4. This year, the topic of this seminar is Moving Beyond Passwords – FIDO-related activities of major platformers, FIDO outlook and recent case study. Japanese ICT giants such as KDDI, NTT Docomo, Rakutan and Yahoo Japan will be participating in the Seminar and RaonSecure is the only Korean participant.
During the event, RaonSecure is planning to showcase its bio-authentication platform, TouchEn OnePass; and its integrated version, OneAccessEX; along with OmniOne, the identification platform that is based on the combination of FIDO and DID through the company introduction page of the seminar website. All the guests can learn about the products from the web page and download relevant materials. One-on-one meetings with the sales expert is also available.
On Dec 4, Taejin Kim, the CTO of RaonSecure will be giving presentation on Changes in Authentication Paradigm and Decentralized ID. He will talk about recent trends in ICT security and authentication industry and best practices of bio-authentication and DID.
RaonSecure is making significant results in Japan despite the pandemic situation. After launching its cloud based bio-authentication service, TouchEn OnePass, as subscription type in Japan, the number of monthly net users exceeded 300,000 only after three months. The company is aiming to maintain its rising trend by participating in the FIDO Seminar in Japan.
Soonhyung Lee, the CEO of RaonSecure, said, “There will be increasing demand on bio-authentication and DID service in Japan as the country’s ID Card, My Number Card, will be digitized. As such, RaonSecure will work in close with Japanese partners and participate in various events to further expand our subscription-type authentication service and increase the market share of our DID platform, OmniOne.
